Tell them the photo should make you think of letting Lolita retire to her natural waters. The more comments the new times receives the bigger the chance we have at getting them to cover the Walk for Lolita on August 8th.

You should retire Lolita to natural water so she has room to be free and happy.
Lolita was brutally captured and taken from her family (6 members of her family died that day) since then she has been performing in a bathtub in order to survive and has made MILLIONS for the seaquarium. She has outlived any other orca in captivity by her sheer will to survive! She DESERVES to retire, she has earned it!!! Her family (L-Pod) is alive and well, she deserves to live out the rest of her life with them. It is cruel and inhumane to keep her in that tiny tank with no room to move and no-one to talk to.
If I could have one wish …… I would wish with all my heart for Lolita to be returned to her family!
Even animals need the dignity of retirement after 30 years of performing.
Lolita has been working in the Miami Seaquarium doing tricks, fighting boredom and loneliness since her capture in 1970. Let your compassion or your conscience guide you to support the people who can help her.
